Maem Srl acquisition by AFT Spa | aft-automation.com

AFT Spa, part of Lambda Investments AG Group holding, has today announced to have reached a binding agreement to purchase 100% shares of Maem srl, leading Italian company specialised in engineering and designing integrated solutions for robotised industrial automation applications. The announced acquisition of Maem Srl, based in Ponte S.Nicolò (Padua -Italy) will be executed thru Lambda fully controlled company Tecnomatic Srl, leading company in designing and producing a wide portfolio of robots, based in Osimo (Ancona - Italy)
The combination of two companies will allow AFT business unit Aft Robotics to extend its value and products propositions from a solely robot type to a fully integrated production line solutions .
This acquisition, jointly to recently completed AutFIT GmbH in Germany , represents one more step forward- said Salvatore Torrisi Group Executive Chairman- in building a top class supplier in automation arena on a global basis.
Lambda Investments AG has today also confirmed that acquisitions strategy combined with a strong organic growth will continue in order to support AFT Group towards its growth and market penetration strategy
AFT Group today includes 4 productions sites and three engineering centres in Europe and sales offices in Italy, Switzerland , Germany, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Maem acquisition is supposed to be closed within few weeks - still confirms Salvatore Torrisi .
